100th Day!!!!!!

I have to tell you, I do not remember 100th day being such a big deal when I was in elementary school. BUT, in my school {especially with the younger grades} it is such a huge deal!
My cooperating teacher and I planned several fun things for the kiddos to do that were all based on the number 100! No kidding, I may have been a little more excited than my firsties! Here are a few snapshots of the fun activities we did in class!
We grouped fruit loops into groups of 10 and counted to 100…

Then we made necklaces with the fruit loops…

Next, we did this super adorable writing activity. After reading a couple of books about grandmas and grandpas, the little ones were able to draw a picture of themselves now, and at 100! The pictures were hilarious, but not nearly as funny as what they wrote beneath!
Check these out!

Before leaving for the day {I had a Student Teaching Seminar to attend on campus that day, so I left school during lunch} I snapped a quick picture of the visors the kiddos wore {boy was it a chore to get them all “just right” for each kid. I just kept hearing “Miss Jaaaaaackson, mine’s too tight. Miss Jaaaaaaackson, mine’s too loose!… Note to self: No. Paper. 100th. Day. Visors.}
So, while I was leaving the school, I passed by several *adorable* hallway displays and I figured I would share them all with you!

How cute are these little old people that the kindergarteners made?!? Love them!

To wrap up this blog post, I thought I’d throw in a couple of pictures of my dear friend Whitney and I. Although I have a *LOT* on my plate with student teaching full time, I try to throw some fun in the mix! We had a date night one Friday and decided to go to dinner and try ice skating! I will proudly report that neither one of us ever fell! Woop woop!!
So much fun!

Now, off to my guilty pleasure…. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. My mother would probably faint if she knew I was publicly admitting my obsession for reality TV!
Night all!
